Designers don't know what to do with text, text is too simple and unispiring, to redeem their übersignificanse they are inventing pitiful excuses: no proper fonts, no precise control over spacing, no layers, and quickly retreating to the familiar and safe world of deeply antialiased elephantine graphics, on the way quickly stuffing all their text into graphics, all mess resulting in one huge but beautiful image.
